To promote youth involvement in all of our programming, RPS offers youth internships to high school aged teenagers. There are two types of internship programs: one, a partnership with Metwest High school, and the other, under the guidance of an RPS member working in the intern’s area of interest. All programs are volunteer run and would love your support!

RPS partners with Metwest High School to offer high school students student initiated, project-driven internships. Internships run throughout the school year, two days a week. Projects have included: entrepreneurial airbrushing business, fashion design, and teaching teen fashion classes. We also reserve one month of gallery programming a year to feature our interns art work, giving students the opportunity to have their work shown in a gallery space that reaches over 1,000 people every month! RPS also offers youth the opportunity to intern in one of our program areas: small business management and entreprenuership in arts, fashion, gallery programming, arts education, and arts lab. They are offered on a rolling basis and those interested should email communityatrpscollectivedotcom to learn more about current availability.
RPS hopes to offer students free youth classes that would run throughout the year. We are still looking for funding for this program. In the meantime, students are welcome to take any of our sliding scale classes offered monthly.

RPS is seeking private donors to fund a cycle of free classes for teens. All money would go to paying art instructors directly. Please email communityatrpscollectivedotcom to learn more.
