Rock Paper Scissors Collective (RPS) in downtown Oakland is launching two fantastic youth programs for young people ages 14-21!
1. Community Collaborations Intern: We are in the process of looking for a few dedicated interns to spend the year documenting our community education programming, learning a variety of art skills, and have the opportunity to be mentored by a professional artist and exhibit work in our June 2010 gallery exhibition. This meets Wed afternoons at RPS.
2. Street Style, our youth fashion and entrepreneurial class: We are looking for students interested in learning how to make and market their own clothing! This will meet Tuesdays at RPS 4:30-6:30. No prior experience needed! Applications can be found here: http://acearts.blogspot.com/
For more information about either program, email: community@rpscollective.com
Or visit us: 2278 Telegraph Ave. at 23rd St.,
Oakland, CA 94612;
Wed-Sun 12-7pm.
