The Rev. Stanley J. Bingman in joyful and loving association with Rock Paper Scissors Collective proudly presents....
Quality is Incidental: the art of UZI RASH
UZI RASH is a group of artists who work very hard, everyday, for Peace, Love, and Understanding. Also, to not be eaten by reptiles when the inevitable reaping of the human harvest occurs in the year 2012.
UZI RASH make music. They have self recorded and self released, to great critical acclaim, 'Paid in Fur', 'Fatal Rash', 'Mescalito Cunts', and 'Reptile Musik'. These music albums, which span from rock/punk to avant-garde wankery to free jazz indulgence, encompass the anti-reptilian/pro-love attitudes of UZI RASH.
UZI RASH make pictures. Lately, they have been drawing animals. They love and respect animals because of the way animals live- naturally. Also, an interest in the so-called 'primitive' arts of tribal and indigenous peoples (Leavers) of the planet earth is an undeniable influence.
UZI RASH do other things too. Please consult the accompanying publication for the exhibition, 'Quality is Incidental (vol.1, no.1)', for details. However, this exhibition will highlight the art objects and music creation that causes the reptilian mind to go taut and fearful when they hear the name UZI RASH.
UZI RASH is Chachi McGooglestein, Lloyd Wabbit, M. Nordile, and J.C. Trashington. These noble savages were chosen and are guided and advised by the Rev. Stanley J Bingman, a living saint who acts as an inspirational beacon of joy and a peaceful warrior in the face of a human (Takers) population who has willingly sacrificed its connection with the earth and its animal friends for unsustainanable surplus agriculturalism, colonialism, industrialization, institutionalization of spirituality, class castes, and all the terrifying realities that are part and parcel of civilization and the Reptilian Agenda.
UZI RASH concentrate on production, output, sheer quantity, and process, if any worthwhile product emerges from the clusterfuck of artistic creation, it is purely by chance. Chance is never wrong. Quality is incidental. And that is the secret to UZI RASH's prolificness- work without worry. What, us worry? Nope.
UZI RASH will be showing their animal drawings, reptile drawings, art inspired by tribal societies, and works inspired by spirituality the world over. UZI RASH will also be playing every song they ever recorded all night. There will also be hot dogs available. July 4th is the Rev. Stanley J. Bingman's birthday and he loves hot dogs. Happy birthday!
[The exhibition runs from July 4-26, 2008, with a First Friday opening on July 4 from 6-9pm. The event is free and open to the public.]
